About the Job

The Episcopal School is looking for a Director of Admissions who is a caring, organized, and collaborative leader with a love for working in an early childhood school. The Director of Admissions is the staff member in charge of managing the family’s entire enrollment experience.
The Director of Admissions will report to the Director of the School, and will work closely with other administrators, including the Business Manager. The Director of Admissions will collaborate in developing an effective and efficient enrollment process. It is expected the candidate will use data and analytics to provide comprehensive reporting to the Director. The Director of Admissions will serve as a strategic thought leader who will communicate effectively and will exemplify the School’s mission and values.





Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in early childhood education
• Knowledge of child development, with teaching experience in early childhood program preferred
• At least 2-4 years of experience working with students and families at a student-focused nonprofit
• Experience with Blackbaud’s Enrollment Manager is a plus, but not necessary
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Outstanding public speaking and writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative manner
• Problem solving and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with independent schools preferred
• Warm, approachable and welcoming demeanor
