About the Job

The math program is seeking an experienced educator to join our highly collaborative mathematics teaching team. We seek thoughtful and creative educators who are comfortable teaching a problem-based curriculum through BC Calculus, including statistics, in a collaborative classroom environment dedicated to equality, equity, and social justice.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate is a dedicated teacher and lifelong learner, evidenced by a history of engaging in professional development, with a passion for mathematics who thinks and cares deeply about how students learn while embodying and inspiring the habits of mind that our program aims to instill in our students.


All candidates should:
• have a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• have at least 5 years teaching experience in a high school settings and be comfortable teaching a range of topics through and including calculus and statistics and be highly comfortable with an integrated problem-based mathematics curriculum.
• understand, appreciate, and implement problem-centered and student-centered pedagogy.
• be dedicated to a collaborative teaching, learning, and working environment.
• demonstrate a whole-hearted commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
