About the Job

Rodeph Sholom School is seeking a Director of Communications and Marketing who is innovative, creative, collaborative, and hands-on. The Director of Communications and Marketing establishes, plans, and administers long- and short-range communication and marketing goals and policies, while also overseeing the day-to-day internal and external communications of the school.

The Director of Communications and Marketing reports to the Director of Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives with support from the Director of Development. The Director of Communications and Marketing works closely with all members of the Leadership Team, including the Head of School. The Director of Communications and Marketing supervises the Associate Director of Communications and Marketing.





Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or related field; Master’s degree preferred;
7 + years' minimum experience in a marketing/communications role, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting;
Demonstrated exceptional skills in writing and editing;
Demonstrated proficiency in communicating and engaging a wide range of constituencies;
Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite;
Experience building social media strategies and developing integrated content marketing campaigns;
Working knowledge of website content management systems;
Familiarity with developing and deploying email communications campaigns;
Experience producing internal and external marketing materials and communications including brochures, one-pagers, and newsletters;
Ability to manage multiple projects at once, change gears at a moment’s notice, and prioritize projects;
Experience leading and managing staff;
Knowledge of and/or experience working in the Jewish community is desirable.
