About the Job:
The Lead Teacher is responsible for the following: Creating and implementing a rich and developmentally appropriate curriculum that will prepare our learners for Kindergarten and beyond. Collaboration with all other teaching staff, SEIT’s, and other outside service professionals. Creating a positive and safe learning environment that fosters social/emotional growth and development. Conducting twice yearly parent teacher conferences as well as maintaining regular communication with parents both in person (when possible) and via email. Completing ongoing school reports when requested by the families and ongoing schools. Creating and implementing an age appropriate separation process Must possess the ability and willingness to differentiate instruction whenever needed. Must possess the ability to use and maintain good classroom management. Willingness to participate in Open House Events, Curriculum Night, and Back to School activities, and staff meetings when needed.
Salary: $58,000 - $61,000

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following or be willing to complete all of the following on or before 8/1/23:
Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education
A minimum of five years of experience, preferably as a Lead Teacher
DOH Background Check, including Fingerprinting
A-Series, and SCR Completed
DOH Medical
CPR & First Aid Training
All DOH Mandated Training Courses
