The Accountability Committee defines the standards of ISAAGNY membership and ensures schools uphold them. Directives: develop materials outlining ISAAGNY's Membership Agreement; monitor and address noncompliance by member schools; oversee Lack of Compliance process; manage exemptions to policies and procedures.
The Data and Survey Committee collects and analyzes data on the evolving school landscape in greater New York, providing members with insights to guide decisions. Directives: design and oversee data survey collection; share trends and help members interpret and apply findings.
The Inclusion Committee ensures all ISAAGNY initiatives reflect inclusivity in both Board decisions and organizational practices. Directives: collaborate to apply inclusive practices across all ISAAGNY activities; contribute discussion points for ongoing equity development; coordinate with the Membership Inclusion Committee.
The Marketing Committee strengthens ISAAGNY’s visibility, differentiates it from other organizations, and promotes awareness of independent schools. Directives: develop strategies to raise ISAAGNY’s profile among potential member schools; develop strategies to strengthen member schools’ recognition of ISAAGNY’s value; develop outreach with parent groups, publications, and community organizations.
The Membership Committee manages ISAAGNY’s membership structure, including general, provisional, and affiliate categories, and their requirements. Directives: review and update the annual membership renewal process, including fees and documentation; explore opportunities to expand membership.
The Nominating Committee oversees the process of selecting new trustees. Directives: assess skills, qualities, and commitments needed for trustee candidates; recommend nominees for upcoming vacancies.
